Tell me about Beretta 92X Centurion

https://www.beretta.com/en-us/92x-centurion/

It has the Vertec grip, instead of the traditional Beretta grip. You can also get a wraparound grip to simulate the traditional Beretta grip size and shape. I had a Vertec (essentially the same gun), & while I liked it, I ultimately wanted consistency with my other 92 and sold it to get an M9A1. My preference is the traditional 92 shape grip, with LTT ultra thin G10 panels. The Vertec grip angle & shape is really nice though.

The 92FS it’s shown with here is wearing standard G10 grips (not ultra thin) for comparison.

ETA, 92 is my favorite line. So many right things about them. My recommendation is to do the G decocker conversion, & D hammer spring.
Here’s the 92X Centurion I picked up today. I’m thinking about the add-ons you mentioned , but first some crazy cool custom grips. Range report coming after the rain. I’ve never had a 92 of any variety, so I’m enjoying just fondling it for now lol.

Congratulations :).

If you are thinking about the 'G' Conversion and a 'D' Spring, you can purchase both the conversion kit and the hammer spring from Langdon, however instead of the 'D', I would go a little further with at least a #14, or if you are planning on using it only at the range with the #13 or even #12. By the way, for what they cost you can try them all and see which one you like. Changing the hammer spring is the easiest and cheapest "trigger job" that you can do on a 92, but it's very effective in making the pistol more enjoyable.

Also, unless you absolutely want to convert the pistol from safety+decoker to decker only, instead of spending the money on the 'G' conversion maybe you can put them aside for a trigger job in a bag..... https://www.langdontactical.com/trigger-job-in-a-bag-92-96-m9-series/
Not that I do not recommend the 'G' Conversion (almost all my 92's are G), however the trigger job in a bag is phenomenal.
