If I ever stop getting "the fever" I will quit hunting. I still get the shakes but after 36 years of hunting it is mostly after the shot. Having to make a quick decision is the worst...lol. If I can watch them a while it helps calm me a tad.

Same here, it like I’m a kid again shooting my first deer every time and especially when I see a big boy.

That was the pic I seen a decade+ ago down in Meriwether county. About time I got the crosshairs on his chest he stepped off in a gully

I couldnt believe it.

Then I looked to my left and a small deer was staring at me . Boom . Meat . I felt better
