City of Lethbridge has a rattlesnake mitigation program.
It is illegal to kill, possess or damage a rattlesnake area without a permit.

As if Canada didn't have enough woodlands rattlesnake habitat. Having a no kill policy is the best way to a rattlesnake over population problem.
