I bit the bullet and put Lithiums in 3 of mine in Mid October. All three are still showing 100% (which was a shock) and all three have taken several hundred videos.

Still running my six, year round. Mine are all Gen 1s and have been great, with only one having a problem. A few months ago, one of my display screen burned out. They were great about repairing it. Cost me about $35.00, and was back in the woods in about three weeks. I am running Rayovac high energy batteries on some, but have also built my own 12 volt battery boxes, with rodent proof cables. Total investment of about $40.00, and they last 6 to 8 months before needing a charge. For me, it was the best way to go.

The lithiums are great, but due to the chemistry, they will show 100%, right up until they die. Kind of like the lithium power tools. Run strong and then dead.

I had spypoint and hated them, they always seemed to need an update when hunting was hot or you were not close to them, The entire rut the last two years they were down during the rut, changed the batteries one time and had it short out, I said no more and got a couple of these and have not had any problems with them
