What are the advantages of the auto vs manual?
The auto adjusts the brightness of the dot based on conditions. Both have the auto-on function. I have the manual one. It's my first RDS and took a little getting used to. I also like that the shroud is made of metal, not polymer and the window is glass. Love it now.
Auto brightness or manual (shake &wake).... I researched the heck outta Of the micro red dot, tried the sig Romeo Zero (didn’t like it), shield smsc was nice (expensive and hard to find at the time), read several reviews of Swampfox Sentinel and talked to a friend out in Washington who had one before making decision to go with auto/sentinel.
Sounds like a good optic for the price
