What's the better earplugs available?

Has anyone tried the Surefire type Earplugs?( the earplugs that allow talking level noise, but not boom!!!)

Thanks,
HEath

I use the earpro 4 (EP4) and have used the same set for about a year. You can hear a normal conversation but, it doesn't pick up on the higher decibels. It slides in your ear, confirms to it and you almost forget they are there. I wore mine for 5-6 hrs and no need to take them out as they are pretty comfortable. Can be found at Walmart($13 or so). Not bulky or make you sweaty like earmuffs.

**personally shot full-auto mp5,RPD,AK47,Glock, and various other firearms only wearing these. Worked like a charm**

All I wear when shooting a bolt gun are surefire earplugs, even wore them while crewing in the Stan, could still hear the radio without any issues. If I am shooting a pistol i might throw on a set Of Howard Leights
