Beware of what muzzle device you use on the Scar 17. It has almost no shoulder and it is not acceptable to use the factory jam nut for suppressor mounts.

You NEED this, unless you have a Scar 17 specific muzzle device.

You also need to verify alignment for each rifle when you mount the first time.

Thank you very much. For the first time I’m going to capitol armory (here in Austin, TX) to have them mount it. Is that shoulder ring all I need for the SCAR? I was planning on going with this for the scar:

Looks good, just don’t put it on without the ring.

You’ll also need to tune the gas jets, or else the Scar will tear its BCG apart.

You need smaller than factory due to the increase in back pressure from the can.

If I remember correctly I am running a 1.3 or a 1.35 on my 17
