As AR10s are now suuuuper affordable, I'm thinking about building one strictly for suppressed usage.

What setup do you have? Pics would be stellar as well..

same as any other platform...threads concentric with bore is most important. So a company that uses/makes good barrels. If you are building...all the magic is in the barrel, buy the best you can afford. Faxon, BA, Noveske...etc.

WAY better to go 300 Blackout for suppressed. Most 308 if suppressed to quiet levels is like a 38 special round.

even supersonic 300 blackout is pretty hearing safe, and still packs a wallop. subs are close to giggle quiet. and you can go short barrel and not lose velocity.

If I were building .308 AR suppressed....Id go aero build w/faxon barrel and a good trigger.

Allsmiles we need specs. Only 1/3 of your gun is visible and it's a terrible angle to see what you have.
