The military trial pistols were Sig M17. The m18 is a compact version of the m17 and as far as I know was never issued to any military unit.
I had one of the military issued m17 snd sold mine for $1400 a year ago. You are very mistaken about the values.

Im pretty sure the M18 was issued to the USMC. The surplus M17’s are bringing the money. $1400 was cheap.

Okay, I stand corrected. They have been issued but never sold out of service as surplus.

Yes sir, no surplus. I wish I would have seen your surplus M17. All of the ones I have seen are close to 2k. I bought a civilian M18. Really like it thus far.

100% correct.. I have yet to wrap my head around why they even care or what makes them think other people value their opinion. I could see if we were buddies, but its from people I have never even talked to..
