Final update.

The Browning Invector tubes work fine. Apparently the extremely low pattern I got from the first full choke tube in the under barrel was just that tube. I have tried others now and, though they are still a little low, they are acceptable and close to the same POI as the over tube. I added a little more cheek pad and all is good. Looking forward to my first round of skeet.

OK, just one more update. I took the 28 on a dove hunt yesterday and hit the first bird I killed with the packing. It's set up well for me now and I am confidant the gun is a winner. Now all I have to do is actually learn to wing shoot worth a damn. I am going to take it with me to the Orvis Wing Shooting School later this year and see what they think of it.
