Picked up a model 620 takedown shotgun with US marking, flaming bomb and proof marks on receiver and barrel. I had to replace three parts. There is also what appears to be a repair to the slide. Gun function is ok for its age but needs a little tweaking to be 100%.

Anyone have an opinion about collectibility or value of this piece of history? I appreciate any response. Thanks

The proofs look somewhat suspect to me.

What is the serial range on that one? You don't have to give the full number. (I.E. 999xx) that will help me narrow it down.

My quick estimate, considering condition and replacement parts is $900-$1200

I would need full pictures of the both sides of the receiver to properly identify the year.

The serial records for dating the are long since gone, however the serial you named does not appear in the range specified by my literature as a Military purchase. Those records are not complete, so it might possibly be a Military model, but my initial impression is that the Arsenal mark was added within the past 20 years.

Also if you could measure the barrel that could be beneficial.

I checked a different book that had a second set of serial numbers which yours falls Within as a Military contract purchase.
