Hello ODT, I have an old military 22lr rifle, and wanted to clean the bolt to make sure that it is not gummed up. I have not been able to get it taken apart, and I wanted to see if any of you might be able to offer suggestions as to the best corse of action to take on this.

Drop it into an ultrasonic cleaner for a couple of cycles. Won't be quite the same as taking it apart, but should get it pretty clean.

Don't have one of those. Might need to visit goodwill and see if they have one.
