Ate at Steel Magnolias on the way out. Rooftop since the weather was cool. Highly recommend it. Carolina Gold pulled pork deviled eggs with confetti slaw? For $6??? Freaking amazing. And the honey pecan fried okra was pretty good too. Finished with strawberry shortcake and banana pudding creme brulee...

There is a guy I have seen a couple of times up here, with a kamaro that has to be straight off the exhaust manifolds or maybe he has cutouts. It's so loud, I bet he has to wear earplugs....it is craaaazy.

I want a nice V8 sound, but that is going to far for something you drive around in.

My car has 4 exhaust modes...I usually run it wide open in "track mode" as it sounds good and isn't too loud. But I want more of the higher pitch raspy tone. If the x-pipe is too loud, I can change the exhaust actuators to "normal" or even "quiet." But I've heard some cars like you're describing, I wouldn't mind mine being a little louder but nothing ridiculous lol

That sounds pretty cool and I bet it's fun to play around with.

I put Ford Racing FR500s on mine after trying 3 chamber Flowmaster Force IIs (too quiet) and the (2 chamber) FM American Thunder axle backs. The FR500s seem about right, reasonable at low RPM but pretty dang loud when you wind it out. I want the nice lower, more muscle car tone sound myself. The American Thunder kit had a lot of drone but they really weren't that loud.

Ate dinner at my brother's house where we did the work, just drove home for the first time...it's ridiculous how much power the car picked up over the whole rpm range. I could tell the throttle response and low end was much improved before I ever left the neighborhood, at less than 20mph. And WOT now is just crazy.
