Just be consistent in small ways. Like doing something weight/cardio wise most days. Don't worry too much if it's not what you wanted/needed to get done that day, just do something. Do the same with your diet, start with consistent change in small ways. Don't beat yourself up for small setbacks or when life gets in the way. Just let that day go and get right back on track the next day. Give yourself a day or two each week to do what you want rest/diet wise. I mean do you really want to live to be 85 and never eat ice cream again when you could live to 83 and eat ice cream once a week? Not me man, lol.
It's the consistent/repetitive change that resets your mind. That reset in mindset changes your habits, and those changes in habit lead to long term permanent results.
