Spinning reel for bass

Pflueger is a good reel. I like the Diawa Regal. About the same price point.
Yeah I have the pflueger president xt baitcaster and love it. Yeah I seen the regal too and was thinking it looked good
I use a Shimano Sahara and a couple cheaper BPS at the neighbors pond. Works well. But if I had to get another one it would probably be a Plueger President. I have a higher end Shimano from when I had my boat but I like the light weight stuff for the pond.
I like the Pflueger but the last couple I had lasted about 3 seasons each. I fish a good bit so 3 seasons is a fair amount of use. The Diawa’s feel smoother to me. Average guy either one will serve you well IMO.
Good choice with the Pflueger President. I have migrated towards those on several rods in different sizes. I think they are the best in that price range. To get something better you have to spend a lot more.
The only thing is I can’t find that combo at any store so I guess I’m gonna have to order it online.
I have a Diawa that’s about 20 years old. I’ve never had any issues with it.
