Well, I got my Sparrow back from my cousin who has decided he didn't want to move it to his trust after all....(THIS thread) and he must have done zero maintenance on it. It's frozen, the monocore baffle will not budge. I can't get anything but the threaded cap off, front cap won't budge either.

Any tips for me?

I would soak it I kroil or similar solvent for a few days first. Then in a solvent like acetone and see if will break loose. I looked at a sparrow but was concerned that the sleeve would be hard to remove if fired much.

Let it soak in Kroil.
Don't just spray it down, submerge it for couple days. It will creep and do it's job
This. I deal with seized hardware on a regular basis and Kroil bails me out almost every time. Usually an over night soaking does it. When that doesnt get it, heat usually does. It will cut through coke. It just needs time.
