Might try a meat processor that processes live stock for the info on where to buy the pigs. I vote for buying the meat ready to cook

Notwithstanding what has been said above, what sort of event requires "live pigs"? How will the pigs be used at the event?

I would also imagine there are some USDA rules to be followed also, maybe even with the transport. And if this is a cooking competition, I believe the meat must be inspected before hand. I always thought they had to be transported to and put down by someone with a USDA license. I know farmers have taken live pigs to Thomas Deer Cooler before in Bolingbroke. We watched him put down a couple that weighed over 600lbs.

I'd just get M&T meats to hook me up if I was him.
