Source of metal tubing?

I need about 8' of 2" square steel tubing, similar to what fits into a receiver hitch. I know I can order it online, but wondering if I should be looking locally (northeast of Atlanta...Athens, Hartwell, Toccoa).

Any guidance appreciated.

Only if you were closer to Dalton. Check with some local machine or fab shops. Big box stores will rip you a new one.

Local machine shop or welding/fabrication. What they use in a receiver is 2x2 with a 1/4 wall thickness

They are one of my customers, also Stewart stainless, two metals, Olympic steel, southeastern colvert might have some. Google steel around athens, there's a lot of places and we all have to stay open.
