I've been on ODT for a number of years now and it seems a lot has changed since 2013, and not necessarily for the better. Of course much of the somewhat negative direction these days is caused by members being stupid. But to be fair, much of it is also caused by mods/admin acting in absurd ways. I've seen members warned, banned, and/or have their posts deleted/moved for the most ridiculous reasons. In some instances, it seems the only reasonable explanation whatsoever would have to be a self-serving act (or possibly vindictive) on the part of the mod(s). Honestly, these behaviors have changed how I feel about the site, how I use the site, and even some plans I had regarding the site in the future.

I agree, this place has become almost anti american. You can't do or say anything because it's against the rules. The mods are all on a power Trip and only want to serve sponsors or paying members.

Tell someone that their $900 used Glock isn't worth more than the brand new ones on store shelves that are selling for $500. Post deals in the steals and deals section that are priced way under what the scalpers here sell for, because it hurts their ability to sell for 50% markup... I can put together a comprehensive list for you if you want. Trust me, it's not hard. It's all about who you are and if you are in "the club" or not.

Eventually this place will go away. Forums run like that, tend to run their course, as the good members eventually have enough and move on, and all that's left are the Craigslisters...

The two deals you have completed must have been bad ones. In my opinion, there are more whiners than flippers and but kissers. The good news is that once this site becomes too much for you to handle, you don't have to stay.
