So I'm thinking about getting a Can Am Spyder...............

I have three friends that have them and they love them you can take them in the corner and they handle like a dream they will out run anybody in a corner tail of dragon yo I’ll run anybody they are very comfortable and nice that sling shot I wouldn’t give a dime for it.Me I will keep what I have. My ex wife Elvira loves it.

I didn't say they wouldn't handle curves, just not like a bike. Still not as fun as dragging pipes.
I agree, I can't stand a Spyder in the curves.

Bypass Bypass go do a CanAm demo day and ride one. I honestly don't enjoy riding them at all but thats because I come from motorcycles and prefer to lean when I ride. They are nice and Spyder owners seem very content. Over the summer at bike week in Myrtle Beach there were Spyder's and Rykers absolutely everywhere so I don't think acceptance is an issue with them anymore. Goldwings are at bike nights all over the country ever since the FSB was introduced and they are parked right beside Street Glides and Road Glides.

As far as the Slingshot goes, they are great fun but you will certainly feel more like you are in a convertible Miata more than the motorcycle feel you seem to be chasing. The issue I run into with Slingshots is I wear a size 13 and the clutch/brake/gas are tough to maneuver unless I am wearing some fairly small soled tennis shoes. The automatics are terrible in the Slingshots also.

Just moved these two last week.
