So, does anyone ever set up sectional range days?

Hello ODT, I'm pretty green here, but I had the thought a while back after SO MANY members sent welcomes (thank you) and many of them from the Athens area.
Almost each one has mentioned "be great to meet you" kind of message so here's my question...
Do ODT members ever set up range days? Either on public or private property or even a group deal at a range?
To go down this rabbit hole further...do they do it by region or section? Such as...

"calling all north east ODT members, reserve your spot for range day at ----------starting@8a.m. currently the range allows 20 people at once, so please reserve your spot in 2 hour intervals"

Not common post Covid. We used to get a group up to meet at the CMP range in Alabama but it's been a while. Private clubs don't really like having a bunch of non members wandering around unsupervised so they are often reluctant to host events like this. Private land is usually your best bet.

We used to have a range day at Norcross Gun Range, we got 5-10 guys for a hour or so during lunch time. Need to reinstitute that, it was a good time.

We’ve had some great ones....many different types of weapons to shoot at each one. They’re tough to organize and schedule but always loads of fun. Almost time for another one...maybe at the CMP or some other place.

Awesome memories of stories told, prizes won, weapons traded, and friendships made. Always a good time....
