I can't spend much time cooking anymore.....I used to cook this at hunting camp with a Dutch Oven. It brings back many a fine memories and taste Great! Even a Caveman can do it, I wanted to try it with splenda instead of sugar..I did this for those that have sugar restrictions. It's in the oven now at 350 for 1hr minutes..
1 Can of Comstock fruit..I use apple this time but also good with Peach, Cherry, Blue Berry and Strawberry
1 Cup of sugar
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 cup of whole milk
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla extract
3 Tablespoon of light brown sugar
2 spoons of Cinnamon

Melt 1 stick of melted butter in the baking dish.
Mix sugar, flour, milk with the Vanilla extract together
Poor the mix in the dish in the middle of the melted butter
Add dapples of fruit in after that, Sprinkle Brown sugar evenly and Cinnamon..
Pre Heat oven to 350 and bake for 45 minutes..

A cup of splenda sounds disgusting in anything.

It is.

My sister an mother use a product called "swerve". And it's really good. Doesn't have the nasty taste splenda etc does.

Actually ate some cookies with that and almond flower the other day that were fantastic.
