Had a 77 304 with 3 sp when I was at Charleston. Ran great, sounded like it wanted to explode at 70 mph

I don’t have time otherwise I’d be interested but My buddy does this kind of stuff.
He currently works with a guy restoring and resto-modding old Scouts.

He’s well versed in all aspects of building a vehicle from the frame up.

He’s done lots of trucks and muscle cars over the years including stuffing new hemis into older Mopar muscle cars and same with Ford and Chevy but partial to Mopar and AMC.

we did this ‘Cuda together.

As long as you’re willing to keep the parts
Coming and cover the labor, he will get it done.

Call The Jeep Hut in Jasper.Ga. They do stuff like that. I'd sell the one you have and find a 1975 or earlier Cj with a straight 6 and a points distributor and use that as the foundation.
