Should I or should I not?

Good points on the 9mm 1911, but some of these new hotrods from Wilson Combat and others are tempting. Heck that Springfield Armory EMP4 CC is a sweet looking gun. Good thing they are too expensive for me.
Yeah see I wouldn't know about those models since as you pointed out they're pricey. Maybe I'm closed minded and dated but in my world there are only 2 acceptable calibers of 1911. Well let me amend that and include 38 Super. But anyway aside from that 1911 pistols MUST be chambered in 45ACP or 10mm. That's it.

I’ve had this one for 17 years. I have cleaned her up, but as dependable as day one.

I didn't like these when HK first introduced them. I felt like they were dumbing it down and going for the mass market. However...they did grow on me after having shot one in 45ACP. And I'd much rather have one of these than the current line up of HK products.

Depending on what you plan on doing, I’d literally recommend a G30S over the 21 for carry/night stand gun. Slap some nice Ameriglo HD’s on it and you will prob be surprised.

Slim slide (19 slide), conceals easy, uses G19 holsters, uses G21 mags, super soft shooting double stack sub compact...
