I am a .45acp fan and like the 1911 style. However I also like the convince of the high capacity of a double stack like the Glock g21. Thinking of parting with my 1911 to purchase or trade for a g21.
So, discuss.

Or get a double stack Para. But seriously(lol I know) G21's are sweet and you can get a 10mm barrel.

HOWEVER - now is not the time to buy a Glock. Although there was a badass G20 on here in the last few days.

Get this, a double stack 10 mm on the 1911 platform. That way you can kill souls if you have to.

Try an XD in 45 with the thumb safety, much improved capacity with the same weight or lighter than your 1911. The thumb safety will be familiar to you as 1911 shooter. These XD's are strong and reliable and seem to be much cheaper these days than a Glock, plus the XD feels alot slimmer to me then the Glock. Of course the glock 36 and 30s are sweet CC guns for sure. You have no idea. I really am poor. Hell if I could buy one I would but unfortunately all I can do is trade things. I DO NOT want to part with anything I have because I can’t replace it unless I trade.
