Shortening a maverick 88

I used a hacksaw and file and polished up with a work sharp on this vent rib barrel. I added a hi viz sight. Not that difficult. Do not use a Raptor or any type pistol grip unless your a seasoned shooter. It’s fun and devastating but also a learning curve.

guys
its a shotgun...just cut it at 18 1/4"to 18 3/4" with what ever you have. what ever you have, pipe cutter, hacksaw, ziz wheel, saws all....then straiten it out with a file...
its not rocket science. if you want to be safe, cut a dowel rod to 18 1/4",stick it down the barrel and make sure it the barrel is longer.
if you need to finish the barrel with anything, hit it with some flat black paint.
only pay to have it done if its a show gun. if its a user, cut it,file it,paint it,and shoot it...

Wahwah, since you call this gun a "cruiser" version of the Maverick 88,
that means it has no shoulder stock, right?
Are you 100% sure it NEVER had a stock on it?
Pistol-grip only its entire existance?

good job i would say - if i was cutting one i would cut it to 20” just to be safe. You arent going to notice that much difference and you know it is legal. (That is until they decide to change the rules)
