Had a washing machine bust a year ago and replaced the sheetrock on the ceiling. Then for some unknown reason someone "checked" the giant drain cap on the new one but didn't replace it properly.

So I need to finally do the ceiling again.

My question:

Are most of them the same? I see some that are obvious improvements over others. But the majority of them look to be the exact same model. I mean exactly the same except for the price! If I could get a cheap chinesium one for around $100 should I? As opposed to renting one from home depot for $40?

I'm certainly not doing this again without one.

Any dry wallers here?

Thanks!

Limited space and rarely used is why I rented v/s buying

For a one time job? Why even consider buying one?

Well my thought is that if I get the cheap one it will be a bit more than the $40 a day one but if I need it for a second day that rental will be as much as actually purchasing the cheap one I've seen.

A lot of em look so similar, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something that might make the cheaper lift turn out to be a pita if I buy it.

This sounds like a job for
