I really don't quite grasp the idea behind this one. I though the shield came out as a single stack answer to the M&P line. What is any major difference between the M&P9C and the Shield Plus?

It's very close to the same size as the original Shield, which is much smaller (narrower) than the Compact. Should be much easier to conceal due to less width.
