Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22p

This is the AR style pistol in .22lr.

This gun is a blast to shoot!

Very accurate out to at least 65 yards, that's the farthest target we tried to shoot. Ran 600 rounds through it, had maybe two FTE, and one fail to fire that I attribute to the ammo more than the gun.

Able to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Best part is I spent $18 in ammo for the whole day!
Overall very happy with the gun.

I have owned one of these guns as well and it ran flawlessly. Very fun to shoot and easy to clean /field strip.

I have been looking at these and the Colt dedicated AR-.22LR rifles and had wished they were out long before.

I dont have the 22p but I have his big brother and Steve your right this thing is a blast to shoot! Gotta find the pistol version to go with mine!

No sir, I had Spikes do me an upper and picked up some Black Dog magazines. I ordered it in October-just before Americans "voted" Obama in office and didn't see it until the following July (9 months!) thanks to the political fever generated. If Smith or Colt had a dedicated AR I probably would of went with them and had the barrel threaded. The AR drop in kits are fairly inaccurate and I really hate a gun I can out shoot but shouldn't.
