The Buran has always been an interesting subject. They stole the design for the most part. But they made some changes. The engines were smaller so it had a better glide path than the US shuttle. The Buran also had ejection seats.

It flew on autopilot. USSR built more than 1 shuttle, btw. One is in the city park in Moscow.

Wish I would've known this last time I was in Moscow. I spent a few hours in Gorky Park (beautiful place btw), but I would've made a stop in whichever park the Buran is in had I known about its presence.
