I started one this year, I'm about 1/2 full already....I need to slow down, and I want the save room for the late summer stuff..

Navy strength, also called "Dock" strength dates back to the old days when they would have lower proof Gin onboard ships, closer to 80 proof so the sailor's wouldn't get shyte faced at sea. When back in port, they would drink the stronger Gin, "Dock strength".

well....if you read all the way through, you get to the Smith & Cross....guess I blindly picked a pretty good rum for my project....I was merely shopping for a higher proof than 80, per instructions...
