I have accumulated a hodgepodge of router bits over the years and am looking at starting freaks with a complete set. I don’t need a professional set. Amazon has a ton of different manufactures that I’ve never heard of. Is it worth the extra money to get a Freud or Bosch?

Have tried some of the 1/4" shank amazon but they seem twice and done. 1/2" better but Freud is much better! The Rockler bits in my opinion even better. Depends what you are doing, how often, and how hard you push.

Built a trey for the odd balls not part of a set. They all are in it now. A 10x16 and 10x24 piece of scrap plywood with 1/2 and 1/4 holes in the 10x16 and some scrap 1x to raise it up. extra space is for wrenches 6 open end and the table bushings. Have 2 dowels for the different collets. Have 2 big boys on tables and 2 handhelds for finish work. I hate changing bits is the reason for so many and keeping everything together.
