Rocket Stove

i have built several of these and similar ones. I built a large one that heats my shop. I could build you one way cheaperI saw one of these on a YouTube video and was impressed by how efficient they are. It took very little wood to cook a meal. The particular one was the K Rocket Stove by Minuteman Provision company. I thought they would go for about $25 to $30.
They want about $270 for this thing. Not only NO but H3LL NO.
Any of you have experience with a Rocket Stove?
I put one together in an evening out of some scrap metal I had left over.
I designed it so it all stows in a fat 50 ammo can.
It really puts out the heat and uses little scraps/branches/twigs/pine cones that's all over my yard.

I built this heater about five years ago out of some scrap i had laying around. I works really well
I dont have any pics of the smaller ones but they look just like the one in your pic
I was more interested in a stove as opposed to a heater. You are definitely more handy with metal work than I am.
Its both. Ive cooked bacon and eggs on top of it in a frying pan..lol. but i know what you mean. Theirs really nothing to building one of those little rocket stoves if you have a welder.
built a couple out of scrap i had around the shop. no they are not light but ive carried mine on a couple of camping trips . they are incredible for cooking/coffee and heat, can run on twigs or in my case scrap lumber. also would be good in a grid down situation
