I have an old pump action Remington model 12 in 22lr that was most likely used as a carnival gallery gun back in the day. Research tells me that they would have used shorts in it and over time causes the chamber to get pitted from the corrosive ammo. As such, when 22 lr is fired the brass forms to the pitting and gets stuck. This is happening in mine. I can see on the brass itself where its bulged from fire forming to the pitting. Possible face deformation from dry firing as well.

Are there any reputable gunsmiths in the north GA area that is experienced in re-sleeving one of these old guns? I've found some smiths in other states but would like to keep this local and not have to ship my gun off. I'm thinking about Aces & 8's Custom Guns in Winder but would like to hear if anyone has experience with them or anyone else concerning barrel re-sleeving.
