You can call Remington and they will tell you want year it was made. The last year of production for the model 11 was 1947. I called em and found out my model 11 was from 1945.

I had no idea of the age of my Grandfathers gun. When I got the reply that it was 1931 I was very surprised. The gun ran 100% on the dove field.
