George Soros will be hissed. Or maybe not. Maybe he has milked all the money out of remington that he can and doesnt care.
Despite the previous federal law protecting firearm manufacturers, in this case "deceptive marketing" seems to be the angle the families are trying to make stick. I could see that happening, depending on the advertising examples they can dig up as evidence.

Well the only saving grace is that if this happens, then we can do the same to car manufacturers, booze, cigarettes, etc. then big industry will come together, lobby, and crush it.

Not only is this ignorant. But the article states “he (Lanza) used a semi automatic weapon that had been sold to his mother” then later states that “lawyers for the victims family say that Lanza, the perpetrator of the crime, was encouraged by the marketing campaign to choose his weapon of choice and that under Connecticut law they have the legal right to bring the claim against the manufacturer.” This can’t possibly make any sense in a legal battle, he couldn’t have chosen a gun based on advertisement if he didn’t buy it, he obtained it from his mother’s house so he didn’t have a choice on what firearm manufacturer he used.

Not to mention, the families dont actually care about justice. They care about a payout. Go after the school? Go after the lanza estate? Nope, go after the Big B illion dollar company.
