Quick (relatively) and easy chicken pot pie

Got another easy recipe for y’all.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast (2-3 depending on size)
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese
1 small (8oz) can mixed peas and carrots drained
1 cup shredded cheese
1 Pillsbury crescent roll sheet

Directions:
Cut up breast into approximately 1” squares, cook (I boiled mine) until done, let cool and then shred

In a large mixing bowl combine softened cream cheese and cream of chicken soup blend until smooth
Add chicken, cheese, peas and carrots and mix well
Spread crescent roll sheet on a cookie sheet
Add chicken mixture down the center
Cut crescent roll sheet on each side of mixture into 1” strips
Fold strips over mixture and seal each end of the roll sheet
In a preheated 350 degree oven bake 25-30 minutes until crust is golden brown

When my wife makes this, she does a MUCH neater, prettier job of wrapping the dough around the mixture!

To make this even quicker and easier, you can substitute canned chunk chicken breast instead of cooking fresh.
