Hello,

I found boxes of ammo.
It appears they suffered in what appears, some kind of water exposure.
I don’t think they were directly sitting in a pool of water.
However, it appears water was wicked/absorbed.
I notice corroded primers.
Is it safe to shoot such ammo?
I am afraid of possible squibs, with bullets stuck in the barrel.
Or worse…

I agree with horsehair. I have found much worse looking ammo at the range and when I pulled them apart, the powder was as dry as a bone.
Pull a couple and look at the powder. Then put the empty case in the rifle and see if the primer goes bang.
If everything looks and fires good shoot a couple.
I have seen Military surplus look worse and shoot fine.

Not advise but what I would do

Well I wouldn’t count on it as dependable but I’d shoot it

Wear safety glasses naturally

Shoot slow & no mag dumps

Listening to each report then inspecting bore if something doesn’t sound right or seem right

Keep a bore jag rod and hammer handy

I’d probably also pour it all in a gallon Ball jar with some dry and dry and leave it for a month before I did anything else just to see if there was any moisture

Again not advice but what I would do

Would advise anyone against shooting any ammo they feel to be suspect; however, I "may have", "allegedly", "possibly", or "supposedly" fired shotgun shells which were in much worse condition

How about pulldown the worst of the ammo and see what it i like? Or sell it for components?

You are talking about 50,000 +/- psi inches from your face.
