Harrison is no longer taking new work so I'll try Ortiz.
That’s too bad, he’s one of the best 1911 ‘smiths in the world. A really good guy too. His full house builds are really just amazing.

Fudds ****ing love 1911's. I mean I do too...but I'm a gen X asshole.I may contact him. From some of his comments to the press on the "ghost gun" (non) issue, he seems like a Super Fudd and just the kind of guy that knows all about 1911s and how to fix them.
It’s possible. SA glues them in rather than pinning it. I’ve seen a few broken, usually from people grabbing them with pliers and trying to pull them out, which usually ends up twisting or bending and snapping the leg. Drilling it out is a pain. Since it is loose, it’s possible that the loctite has just broken free.I'm getting ready to pull a loose ejector from my S.A. MilSpec and I fear the leg may be broken off due to how loose it is........Now you got me scared....
What is an SA? Oh, I see your reply was in response to another post. Sorry.Yes SA glues the ejector in.. lazy
