Quail , yesterday I jumped two covey Of Quail.

Man, we had 5 covey's growing up on the farm, hunted them moderately, 2 bird limit for all. About the time I hit 16, they started disappearing, down to 4, 3 and then gone. Always had Hawks, but we now had Coyotes.....
We use to see em all the time around here when I was young . The last 2 I shot an ate 
was right across the road from where I am now in Coweta county . A gal I know gave me some a few years back and we fried em up.
Last couple covey's I seen were down near Primrose in Meriwether county a few years back . The property was clear-cut a couple years earlier and was about 4 to 5 foot tall in pines and undergrowth. Rabbits everywhere
