PVC Bow

Ever heard of someone making a bow out of PVC? My brother made a few out of 1" PVC and paracord, and they're awesome. We were shooting at a 24" cube at 15 paces, and this thing would bury the arrow 10" deep every time. I'm estimating it to be about a 50# draw. I just wouldn't shoot it on a cold day... maybe OUCH!

I used to do that as a kid and was surprised how much punch was behind them. But, after several hundred shots, mine would always break. No big deal since it's only a couple dollars to build a new one.

Interesting. I think he tried one like that, but the design that worked really well was kind of a reverse recurve. Like a D shape.

Yeah he was really going for it with the PVC... I think he covered that with camo tape too.
