Prostate cancer and PSA Levels- Does it tell the whole story?

I went through the whole process very large prostate my biopsy was negative numbers down now back up go to doctor in February I was looking if positive at any treatment other than removing the prostate my older brother had his removed in the same boat as wildbill

I know this is an older thread, but has anyone had a high PSA number and gone straight to a biopsy, without a DRE or any type of imaging?
