Well, it depends. Are you building a sheep gun or a bench rest precision rifle?
With a heavy barrel I don’t think it is a mountain gun...so this stock, no matter how cheap, is not the right one.

I was looking at it as an upgrade from my hogue for 16.5 rifle. Not it’s not a mountain gun. It’s in Good Hope, just around the corner
