appleseed shoots are great. Good training / instruction / coaching.
My old eyes can't make "Rifleman" with military style peep and post sights,
but I did it with a 10/22 with real target sights, small apertures front and rear. And a Green Mountain barrel with a tighter-than-standard chamber.
I'd recommend some kind of optic or low-power scope if you're over age 45!
