Private message concern

It’s some kind of Deep State. We’re being infiltrated. I’m not trying to break ODT rules about political correctness. These scam attempts began during the last gubernatorial campaign. Here’s a link to listen to conservative talk radio from 0700-1900. They discuss scams to be aware of. No offense intended toward fellow ODT’ers whom don’t lean Conservatively.

I know it's rubbing salt in the wound, but mama always said if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I got the same email awhile back. I responded that the price would have to be ridiculously low to justify shipping and FFL fees. He replied to contact Tom and find out. I ignored. Now we have multiple threads about the same thing happening months later...

This a.m. I received notification on my cell phone that vbrass1 had started a private message to me and the message was displayed. When I logged in on my computer the message was not in my inbox and I could not find any details about vbrass1 when I searched in members. Concerned this may be a scam as an out of state gun purchase could be involved.

Would appreciate quick feedback on this as I contacted the reference given by vbrass1 and need to respond today.

Thanks.

I suggest you read this, it's about email but applies to all internet communications.
