What is a proper way to store primers?

Is it ok to leave them in the box and have on a shelf in my home with constant HVAC access?

Would it be better to seal them up in vacuum sealed bags?

Just leave mind in the box on a shelf in the reloading shed, never had a problem yet, AC only comes on when I’m reloading

Just store them in the box, especially if it is temperature controlled. All that old surplus ammo still runs pretty well despite less than ideal storage.

Currently a safety deposit box might be best...

I've kept primers on a shelf in non-conditioned air shop for 30 years with no issues. In conditioned space would be luxurious for them!

FYI Wolf brokers are much more susceptible to corrosion in storage than most American primers.

I had to throw out a case of Wolf that was sitting beside a case of federal due to corrosion.

I just picked up 7000 more to add to the cache, some of the older ones I've had over 10 years and they haven't given any issues. That said, they're in air conditioned and heated room.

Army ammo can has worked for me since 73. Never had any problems.
