I recall seeing a video that racoon used to be a popular Thanksgiving dish before turkey took over. Read that it tasted like a combination of pork & chicken. As long as it wasn't a trash panda I'd like eat one too to try it out.

I'd say I'm a survivalist, I know what needs to get prioritized and have the fortitude to eat anything to stay alive, even if it's the neighbors dog or cat. If things are bad enough, I'd tell the wife it was the "neighbors" dog/cat.
