Prepper or survivalist?

Survivalist, although the neighbors know me as just another sheep.

I prefer the term Prepper. Just sounds like I am more squared away than calling me a survivalist.

Just finished a 41 mile hike on the AT with my daughter. Carried a 24 pound pack including my Keltec. Only met one bear and it ran. Must have been the smell. I don't have time enough left to prepare so I just do it.

We are starting on the Pinhoti in Sept. How old is your daughter that went hiking? Was it her idea or your idea? I hiked the AT from Harper's Ferry, West VA all the way into PA. Good solid hike with great people. After talking about it my oldest decided she wanted to dayhike. I am looking forward to hiking again. I am curious also what stove did you take?
