So I’ll share a story too since other brave souls have come forward first.
On one of my deployments to iraq I was chilling in the back of a Bradley. The mounted boys were at a Checkpoint overwatching an intersection to prevent movement.
Well all of us line squad guys were all in the hull when the gunner spotted a dude wayyyyy off who was straight banging a donkey. This was in SE Bagdad. On thermals, out in some s***ty dusty field of garbage going to town.
The gunner actually pushed it up to company and requested to engage with the 25mm lol he was denied, but a burst or 2 of COAX got slung his direction.
It’s true they do it over there I’ve seen it with my own two eyes.

When I worked in South Ga in the 60's, some of those good ol' boys would tell tales of getting caught shagging a mule.
