Powder loads for 45 GAP???

I bought the Hornady lock and load kit w/ the intent to reload 45gap but that's the only caliber missing from the handbook. I have chosen Blue Dot powder but haven't decided on bullet weight. Anyone have any load recommendations? Thanks

To get the most out of the blue dot, try a 230 grain bullet.

The Alliante web sight has data for the 45ACP, Blue Dot and a 200 grain Gold Dot Hollow Point. Blue Dot is not the normal powder for the GAP, but it will work.

Double check my thoughts, but I think 7 to 7.5 BlueDot with a 230 grain should work fine.

Thanks for the advice! I may try power pistol powder, based on some reading, it looks more versatile among the other calibers I reload.
